We have some fantastic New Zealand Red Stag hunting areas, where our clients can create memories that will last a lifetime. Our private free-range and private estate options both offer outstanding country to explore - from rolling hills and riverbeds to steep mountain faces and true native bush.
Our Red Stag hunts run from February until July each year, and we have great hunting opportunities for stags ranging in size from 320SCI to 500+SCI. If you join us in March or April, you’ll experience the thrilling roar of the stags during the rut, when the hills come alive with their calls, creating an unforgettable and truly world-class hunting adventure.

Our Red Stag hunts are fully inclusive, designed to give you a seamless, world-class experience from start to finish. Your package includes your Red Stag trophy, private accommodation, all chef-prepared meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks), airport transfers, professional PH guiding, hunting license, field trophy preparation, trophy photography, and use of firearms and ammunition if needed. For those seeking even more adventure, we can also help arrange add-on species or additional experiences to make your hunt truly one-of-a-kind.

The New Zealand Roar is an experience no hunter should miss. Taking place during March and April, this is the peak of the Red Stag roar, when stags fill the valleys with their powerful calls and become most active and aggressive. It’s the best chance to hunt mature, heavy-antlered stags in their most primal state, offering heart-pounding action and unforgettable memories.

Additional Game
While you’re hunting Red Stag during the Roar, there’s an incredible opportunity to add other iconic species to your adventure. Elk (Wapiti) and Fallow Buck are both in excellent condition at this time of year, offering the chance to pursue multiple trophies in one trip.
Late March and April also mark a prime window for early-season Tahr hunting, before winter conditions fully set in.
